On August 16th, 2025, Verse & Voices hosted its very first author event featuring Poppy Fitzgerald, author of the Birch Falls Series. The event celebrated the release of her third book, Duress, which launched on August 1st.
The evening included a live interview with Poppy about her writing journey and inspirations, an audience Q&A, a surprise sneak peek of the upcoming audiobook for Astray (Book 1 in the series), and concluded with a meet & greet and book signing.
