Vana
Hello! My name is Vana and I have been passionate about reading from a very young age. As a child, I read extensively, but it was the Harry Potter series that truly revealed to me the magic of literature when I was ten years old. I carried these books everywhere. Whether reading discreetly under my desk at school, during recess, or in the waiting rooms at the doctor’s office. Essentially, whenever I had a free moment, I was immersed in a book.
As life got busier, I drifted away from reading. Then in August 2023, I picked up Fourth Wing, and just like that, my passion for books reignited. Now, I’m on a mission to read (or at least attempt to read) every book that crosses my path: whether it’s recommended by a friend, found through social media, whispered by the book ghost, or simply something that sparks curiosity. If it has a story, I want to explore it.
Outside the book world, I have a bachelor’s degree in finance and have worked as a financial analyst for a Fortune 500 company for over four years. With experience in financial planning, budgeting, operations, and internal auditing, I’m excited to channel that skill set into growing Vana Verse and building it with purpose, sustainability, and heart.
About The Vana Verse
The Vana Verse is a community-driven literary platform dedicated to helping independently published authors connect with readers, bookstores, and other meaningful opportunities without burning out on logistics and backend work. The Vana Verse exists to bridge the gap between writing a book and successfully getting that book into the world.
At its core, The Vana Verse focuses on relationship-building. Between authors and independent bookstores. Between authors and readers. Between local literary communities and the stories being created within them. This platform was born out of my experience entering the book community through Bookstagram and discovering how powerful personal connection can be in making books feel meaningful, visible, and supported.

Through a mix of bookstore outreach, event coordination, and hands-on author support, The Vana Verse helps authors stay organized, visible, and confident while allowing them to focus on what they love most: writing.
