✨1 Year of Author Interviews ✨

Today marks officially one year of starting my author interviewing journey!!! One year ago today, I had the absolute pleasure of interviewing the one and only @gretchenwritesbooks 🥰

This interview will always have a special place in my heart for many reasons but two of them are:

- It made me realize how much I love to interview and get to know authors. Not just their books, but who they are as people and what motivates them everyday

It’s not always (or ever) that my day job and my entrepreneurial job merge into one so this was a monumental moment that needed to be documented!

A few weeks ago I went to a work conference and we had keynote speaker, former NFL, and current author, @ericboles_ speak to us about not being the best, but doing our best 💫

I absolutely loved his presentation and was actually one of the lucky few to win a copy of his book, Moving To Great! I was able to talk to Eric and get my book signed! It was truly an exciting moment for the book lover side of me 🤭

Eric, thank you so much for coming to talk to us about our potential and unique effectiveness we put out in the world.

✨Happy Friday Friends!✨

Though it felt like a relatively short week for me this week, I’m so happy it’s the weekend!!

My goal this weekend is to finish my two current reads: House of Earth and Blood (Crescent City book 1) and Escaping Wonderland. Let me tell you, both books have me on the edge of my seat🙈

I was living my best life vibing through CC1, and then it all went down. I told myself oh yea, it’s a @sarahjmaas book, I forgot 🤣 now I’m holding onto dear life as I make my way through the final few chapters of this book. Send lots of good vibes please 🙏

Escaping Wonderland on the other hand has been such a fun ride!! An Alice In Wonderland retelling with a sci-fi twist, I’m loving this story and can’t wait to see how it ends. Shadow 😮‍💨🤌 is all I’m gonna say.

Verse & Voices’ first children’s event was a huge success!!

This weekend, we channeled our inner child with Aimee Ryan as we learned about her debut children’s book, Take Us Somewhere, and how it beautifully preserves the memories of her family’s adventure to Congaree National Park. The interview was followed by story time and a crafting hour that included coloring and building binoculars!
